Matt and I put up 100 feet of potatoes after the funeral yesterday. Shelby came out and put a few potatoes in the sink and Dylan regulated the burner for the boiling water. It felt good to have the first harvest of the season started! Matt has also planted beans, tomatoes, squash, and a few random wild growing stalks of corn. Don't I look like quite the farmer girl? Laura Ingalls would be proud.

A couple of Saturdays ago Dylan went to the temple for his first Temple Trip. We drove down in the Bagley's Escalade and got to the temple by 9:00. The entire temple experience was great. In the end Dylan was able to bear his testimony on the whole experience. I was very proud of him. After the all you can eat buffet at Golden Corral we were off- back to Lake City. The only down side was the traffic coming home- 4 hours- YUCK!!!

Another part of Spring Break was our trip to the Beach. This is Dylan and his first time skimboarding- He loved it!!!

This week was one of firsts. It was Dylan's first church basketball game and Shelby first 16th birthday. As you can tell by the pictures both were great. The three new people in the pictures were Josh, Missy and Joe. Stories later. : >

For Heidi

We played broom hockey at church on Wednesday night. Shelby likes to have me tag along so I watched and laughed and laughed and played a little. Shelby was quite the agressive girl- Branson weighs more than me know so he keep shoving me out of the way- Needless to say I just took a lot of pictures. The other pictures are of the World Wide YW Broadcast at the stake center. There is a picture of Shelby and Kristen her nonmember friend. It was nice to have her along. Shelby keep notes on her questions so they could discuss them later on. I let them go to the late show after the movie and then the torerntal rain came and they were late getting home after1:00 late- I lay in bed thinking- I am not ready for another 16 year old. But they only killed one racoon- road kill- and they had a good time so life goes on.

We went to Suwannee this last weekend. We left Finn at home and it was great!
It is amazing how much more I can relax when I am not worrying about a dog peeing on someone else's floor.

Here are some pictures of Finn's life of where he is today and where he began.
Yes, it is true Matt poured concrete this week and the second picture is Finn's new home- away from the home.
The third picture is of where he slept last night- right outside our window. No, don't open the window unless you want to smell ..... you know what.....
And the last picture is of where he started inside the house in the den.
As you can tell we have figured this dog thing out- I mean OUT!!!
A happy family is a family with a dog outside that comes inside for visits. : >
