Matt and I put up 100 feet of potatoes after the funeral yesterday. Shelby came out and put a few potatoes in the sink and Dylan regulated the burner for the boiling water. It felt good to have the first harvest of the season started! Matt has also planted beans, tomatoes, squash, and a few random wild growing stalks of corn. Don't I look like quite the farmer girl? Laura Ingalls would be proud.

We planted our first crop a couple of weeks ago.
No silly that was her sister Mary- you should have been watching with us instead of wanting to watch football!
