New Beginnings

New Beginnings was tonight.
Tonya had a great idea for the girls to pick an older sister in the Branch and they could come and talk to us about life when they were growing up.
It was great. Then after the talks the girls sang a song that of course I cried through.
The amazing thing about this picture is that 4 of girls are not members of the church.
One of them is our Brittany. It felt good to have her there. I hope the gospel is becoming a part of her life.

After the last one fell to the ground several months ago Dad broke down and ventured into the dreaded Wal-mart and bought a new basketball hoop for Dylan. The boys have been outside most of the afternoon playing while the rest of us have been inside battling the flu.

However, Shelby smiled- so we might all be on the mend.

80 degrees today

Hello.
Yes, believe it or not it was 80 degrees today. The flowers are starting to bloom and I think it is almost time to put up our sweaters. There is a cold snap coming in this weekend so I might just have to change my mind. Life in Florida is uneventful- that is a good thing when you have children. We are counting down the days until Summer. Keep an eye out for plane tickets and let me know when they come on sale.
