So far my Christmas break has been awesome! I have not purchased any major gifts yet and even though time is running out I feel amazing calm- so at least for another hour. On Monday Shelby and I went out to lunch and shopping. I love having a daughter. I love how she snorts when she laughs and I love how she gets me. Then on Tuesday Dylan and I went to Gainesville and wandered around Target and the mall waiting for Cal to wake up. Then we went out to lunch and to the skate park. I love my boys. I love how grown up Cal looks- I love how tall Dylan is getting I love how Dylan can be the most annoying person I know and making me laugh till I cry the next. Later Tuesday night we loaded up the car and went to Stephen Foster. It was super fun. Shelby was cramping and super honery and Cal was busy worrying about what came next after he ditched the family- but in between the whining and eagerness to get home- I had a ball. We roasted marshmallows and ate popcorn- we saw lots of people we knew. We laughed and laughed. Sang Christmas carols at a fire- I loved this- I think this will be my favorite day of Christmas Break!!!

Last night was our Branch Christmas party. It is amazing how we did not all fit in the gym already. It was super scrunched. They kept pulling in tables from the Branch President's Office, classrooms and kept putting white table cloths over them. Not everyone was even there! Amazing. Anyway to start out the night before they let anyone eat they had the Forsyth's sing, Joy to the World. Yes, Matt volunteered us and even Cal joined in. It was awesome!!! Matt played the gut air and I even bumped the tambourine. Can you believe it- Musical talent from Cindy. It was so cool to have my entire family together and laughing and enjoying each other. Caris came with Cal and had her first experience with the church. Hopefully it was a good one. All the kids sat on Santa's lap- OK technically by his side and I got a good picture of everyone to see when Caris sends it to me- so look for that. When it was over we came home and put up the tree ornaments and enjoyed explaining to Caris what each ornament represented. It was a super great way to help me get into the Christmas spirit.
