Branford's Prom was last Saturday.
Tanya was still in the hospital and was going to miss her prom. So her best friend, Jenna decided to throw a prom for her at the hospital. These are all kids from church. Dylan and I snuck by the hospital for a few pictures. They had a blast. After the hospital they went back to Jennas and swam and ate and played a new game on the Wii. It is a dancing game and Dad you really need to purchase it- the grandkids would have a blast!! I am going to have to buy it also. It is on sale this week at Target for $30.00. Get it quick!!!

Day 1 of Spring Break.

Dylan and I head to the skate park in Live Oak. He takes two bottles of water, one iPod, one skateboard and one scooter. When we get there he gives me the disappointing eye when I go over to the picnic table and sit down. No, Dylan I am not going to play with you. Ten minutes later I am on the concrete with wheels under me. I tell Dylan alright I will do this IF you hold my hand on the first time down. He smiles and agrees. As I drop down I fell myself falling- I begin thinking I am wayyyy to big to be falling. Dylan runs the other way to avoid smashing I guess. I catch myself and save myself total humiliation. I ask Dylan.... WHY? He tells me there was no way he could have stopped that!!! So I just smiled, said a thank you prayer and went back to the picnic table. Ten minutes later he is back over. Does he not understand? Next thing you know I am back over this time on the scooter. Much safer. Still scary. But I was working on personal progress at the picnic table- I should be safe right? Finally convinced him that Dairy Queen was a lot safer than me on the concrete. YUM!! Can you say Blizzard?
