Reflections of Prom....

Severe weather hits Florida. I know you are all surprised. Mom and Dad will appreciate this.
One of the big pecan trees are no longer there. We saw hail, rain, wind, and trees tumble over. After it was all over we got in the car and drove around the yard to survey the damage. This is what we found. Something tells me we will be doing some yard work tomorrow. : >

I promised Matt I would put this picture up. Not because we look so beautiful, but because it is the start of harvest time! We dug our second set of potatoes the other day and now I am putting up the second 12 quarts of potatoes. We still have three more rows to go. This year we will do french fries, canned potatoes, potaotes with beans, and plain potatoes in the pantry. Fun! Also in the fresh produce isle (our garden) you will find, ocra, beans, corn, tomatoes, squash, baby cucumbers, and peaches on the the peach tree, pears on the pear tree, and a new berry I can't think of the name right now. Did I mention the chickens? 6 eggs a day! Our little home is a working farm. I am soooo glad Matt enjoys it. I know I enjoy eating it all. : >
