Hello! Welcome First Day of School.

Shelby has gotten a bad cold and spent last night trying to sleep when she couldn't breathe out of her nose. Finally after promising that she would not have to go to school on Monday she feel asleep. She was the first one up and I was afraid that she never went to bed- but she had and she said she would give school a shot. She made it through the day and now is crashed on the couch. Dylan's first day of Middle School was OK. He made it to the bus with Shelby on it and they both made it back to the office so all is well. Now- I wonder what day 2 will bring.

I have changed the layout of our District Website. Check it out.
http://www.columbia.k12.fl.us/
It is amazing how stressful it can be to change the entire web site for the district.
I am still in the tweaking stage- Lining things up and stuff. I am doing it in frontpage- gave up on Adobe Dreamweaver. A little hard for this old girl!

Ok Russ is my inspiration. He has been soooo good at writing on his blog lately that I have decided to start again. If for nothing more than an account of my daily doings!

We are getting ready for school to start again. It is hard to believe that there are no longer any Forsyth's in Elementary. SAD. I am feeling a little anxious about Dylan and Middle School- but I know there are a lot of people that will be looking out for him. As far as Shelby and High School- this will be a big year of change. She has a tough road to go and I hope and pray she can stay dtrong and do what's right. She will be 16 in April. That is sooooo hard to believe. Of course Cal will be 19 in September even closer. He is trying to decide what life is going to bring him- I think he is currently just a stressed Forsyth. Matt traded in his john boat for a flats boat and has only been out on it once. He is hoping for an outing with Dylan on Monday- maybe if Cal is nice he might get invited along too.

Alright, alright, I have been naughty. I guess it is because this week has been soooo busy and the last and the last. I survived Girl's Camp. It was nice- just not as fun as when Shelby is with me- Heidi I guess you can plan on how many years of girl's camp? This week I have been teaching High School English Teachers, Assistant Superintendants, and Prinicpals for our new grant. Project READ is a grant that we got that gives us $750,000 to spend on technology at the High Schools. They each got a laptop for attending the training. I taught them MovieMaker, Picasa, Proper use of video camera hook up, great web sites for the grant, Inspiration and basically just cheered them on for 4 days. We have two more days next week. I will be glad when it is over and I can get back to inventory.
But- anyway that is me. I will put some pictures on soon-

I bet you are all curious to see if Mom and Dad have decided to stay in Florida? Well, it is a steamy 80 degrees today and Mom and Dad are in Orlando. We had a great graduation weekend. They have discovered a new Mexican Resturant and Dad has trained us all on the Mario Cart Wii. So task complete they are heading home. I am including a couple of my favorite pictures from the weekend. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful Mom and Dad. Thank you to all my Utah family for sharing.
