So far my Christmas break has been awesome! I have not purchased any major gifts yet and even though time is running out I feel amazing calm- so at least for another hour. On Monday Shelby and I went out to lunch and shopping. I love having a daughter. I love how she snorts when she laughs and I love how she gets me. Then on Tuesday Dylan and I went to Gainesville and wandered around Target and the mall waiting for Cal to wake up. Then we went out to lunch and to the skate park. I love my boys. I love how grown up Cal looks- I love how tall Dylan is getting I love how Dylan can be the most annoying person I know and making me laugh till I cry the next. Later Tuesday night we loaded up the car and went to Stephen Foster. It was super fun. Shelby was cramping and super honery and Cal was busy worrying about what came next after he ditched the family- but in between the whining and eagerness to get home- I had a ball. We roasted marshmallows and ate popcorn- we saw lots of people we knew. We laughed and laughed. Sang Christmas carols at a fire- I loved this- I think this will be my favorite day of Christmas Break!!!

Last night was our Branch Christmas party. It is amazing how we did not all fit in the gym already. It was super scrunched. They kept pulling in tables from the Branch President's Office, classrooms and kept putting white table cloths over them. Not everyone was even there! Amazing. Anyway to start out the night before they let anyone eat they had the Forsyth's sing, Joy to the World. Yes, Matt volunteered us and even Cal joined in. It was awesome!!! Matt played the gut air and I even bumped the tambourine. Can you believe it- Musical talent from Cindy. It was so cool to have my entire family together and laughing and enjoying each other. Caris came with Cal and had her first experience with the church. Hopefully it was a good one. All the kids sat on Santa's lap- OK technically by his side and I got a good picture of everyone to see when Caris sends it to me- so look for that. When it was over we came home and put up the tree ornaments and enjoyed explaining to Caris what each ornament represented. It was a super great way to help me get into the Christmas spirit.

This holiday season I am thankful for Shelby!
I do not know what I did to deserve her but I am soooo blessed that she is mine.
She is such a helper around the house when I need her and she always says the right things to keep me calm. I am so proud of the choices she makes and for the woman that she is becoming. Most of all I am so thankful to have a friend that will be mine for the eternities! Love you my daughter!

These pictures are from Matt and cane grinding. He has been doing quite a bit of this lately with his buddy, Ed Graham. They get sugar cane and feed it through a machine that is powered by wither an animal or a four wheeler going around and around. Michael is on the four wheeler in this picture. Anyway, as the four wheeler goes round and round the cane goes through the machine and sqeezes out the juice for cane syrup. Which is the final picture. Super cool- lots of work. For my Utah family this is just like making maple syrup only it tastes different.
Happy Thanksgiving!
We had a great day and I am so thankful for my family near and far.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holdiay! Eat early, nap late, and shop the next day!
This year Caris came along with Shelby and I. We had a good time. She had never been out that early on Black Monday before- 3:00am to be exact. We hit alot of stores but did not find anything super wonderful EXCEPT- our twinner pjs for Christmas. Caris picked out the flannel material and we will look stunning in them! I bet you can't wait for the pictures!!!

Long time no write
So I have decided to try and get on top of things again. That means making cards this week and exercising. I thought if I took a moment and wrote it down maybe I would follow through. Life has been so busy lately- but it is a happy busy. We had the missionaries and another family over last Monday. I was not to excited to come home and feed the masses but the Lord has a way of making me humble. They were SO fun. I have felt bad ever since. I am going to try to upload a video of one dancing with George a new convert to the church. I was lucky enough to get to talk at his and his Mom's baptism.

Hello All!
We spent a few days down at Suwannee and as you can see we had a great time. I finally broke down after 21 years of marraige and fished and guess what? I loved it! I caught the biggest fish of the trip. I think I am a born natural. But Dylan was really patient with me and a great teacher. The fireworks were awesome. I can't believe all the people. That was crazy- there were tons and tons of golf carts running everywhere. I also got my first sun burn of the season. Not to bad for July 3rd.
